Only a small fraction of men is capable of rape, yet men get accused of it left and right. People are acting as if there's some kind of rape epidemic going on. If rape accusations significantly outnumber what is genetically possible, judges should realize that something's wrong. They don't, because they only look at cases individually. So the control mechanism should lie elsewhere. In order to prevent false rape accusations, I propose this solution: that public prosecutors have a limit to how many people they can prosecute for rape in any given year.
Rape is traumatic, but so is a false accusation. Toxic femininity should not be left unchecked.
What do you think of this solution?
