Is it wrong to own money? Anonymous No.159
If someone owns a significant amount of money but don't report it in your tax filings, you can even be jailed. If the same person didn't own that money in the first place, they would've remained free. Somehow, by owning money and doing nothing else, he has committed a criminal offense. Can any of you statists explain what the person in question did wrong?

It's the redefinition of crime.

It went from 'caused an offense to someone, creating with a plaintiff'
to

'Didnt obey the dictates of the state'

The scant steelman argument is that we need to pay for a DRO for our own protection, worse thugs would hurt us otherwise, and it has to be a monopoly because contradicting laws can't coexist (peacefully). And we can't leave because the current system/values is the best, and having a competing/antagonistic one on your border (or anywhere) would eventually potentially pose a threat.

I see. What's the anarchist counterargument to that?

He didnt pay for the fair share of things he gets to enjoy on our dime. State parks, roads, crews that maintain said parks and roads. ETC. Your state is made up of so much money you've never personally seen or have even fathomed.
