>>>/technology/ but kek. I see text interface so good on him.

I choose screens that have more height like my laptop has a 3:2 screen. 4:3 was a great aspect ratio it's sad it's gone. I don't understand the point of these widescreens it's not like in watching videos or playing games all the time. Is that what manufacturers assume people to do all day?

for a laptop size i also prefer the 4:3 but for a bigger monitor i like 16:9 better. mine's 42"

Okay yes, that makes sense. There's a minimum height that should be reached first. However I feel like many widescreen monitors don't even reach that. I like seeing bigger portions of articles at once. Me I can never get enough of height. I like pivot monitors too.

Benq has three variants of 3:2 screens for photography that are extremely nice. I'm saving up for one as I find that to be an even better format, myself. There's also another big manufacturer that also started making them, but I forgot the company. Personally, I find the overall best aspect ratio to be 16:10, as it's the golden ratio, but for photography, 3:2 or 4:3 is best.

Once again Apple is doing something right, they use 16:10. As for the other company is it Eizo? They even made some 1:1 monitors.

right on 16:10 is close to golden ratio. 16:9 looks too meh, flat. could be good for a huge screen, but for a normal size screen16:10 is sooo much nicer. many laptops had 16:10

Kek. He's not the creator of nekochan. This website is in fact an improvement on lunoforum. From not requiring comments that site turned into a 9gag clone.
