Google fail Anonymous No.25

Here's another failure. I've had this device for less than a year and already I'm over 90% of storage. Sure, I've installed a bunch of models so that's what's taking up space but seriously, why not let me put a microSD in my phone? I'm not gonna buy a phone with more storage because they're upselling them, fuck that.

We now have:
- no replaceable battery
- no microSD port
- no headphone jack
- no buttons, not even for back / home / switch
- no convenience key
- no lid to cover the camera

These devices just keep getting worse and worse. I have an idea for new phones: remove the volume buttons and the power button as well. No turning off the device, that's overrated. It should automatically turn on as soon as it has a charge so that it can spy on the user all the time. Fuck, if Big Corp Inc. reads this they're probably gonna take notes. My point is: modern 'smart' phones suck ass.

yeah also
- DisplayPort Alternate Mode (or DP Alt Mode) for external monitor

USB host mode i guess most have, for attaching hubs and keyboards.

With phones being faster than many laptops why not have laptop type functionality.

I think samsung s21 has the sdcard and dp-alt for monitor. With 'dex' and such you can do laptoppy type things with it. I hear.

22GB for your OS is also a crime.

True. They call them temporary system files but in reality they persist. I don't know if I can delete them but if I did, I'm sure they'd come back.

It isn't the biggest issue however because it isn't a number that grows. If you have external storage for your files, even 64 GB could be enough for OS + apps although you'd be pushing it. But my point is that if it's enough, it guarantees a lifetime of use if only the device has a microSD slot.

Another thing we lost is the ability to install programs to a microSD card. With that feature, 64 GB would definitely be enough.
