Hello. I have continued working on this. As you can see the look has changed dramatically, it now uses a white background which took getting used to at first but personally grew on me and I've received positive feedback on it. Another big change is that I've started implementing embeds. Youtube and Rumble embeds were already announced but now there are X and Instagram embeds as well. TikTok will be added soon. The first few updates came with brief downtimes. This caused MLJFireDragon to leave for a few days but he's back now. I now update the website in place so it should be seamless, although at times it can look weird from a bad update being pushed. Another big change is how comments look on dedicated post pages now. I've implemented a chat style look. It doesn't look perfect right now but I've stumbled into a bottleneck with the LLM that I'm currently using. I can only use the lite model which sucks at changing visual things. It ignores some of my prompts. The current version at least looks acceptable. I plan to hand it over to another LLM soon and have that continue.

I've decided to continue working on this website. Link posts don't look so good while the majority of links are Youtube and Rumble videos. I pushed an update that makes it automatically embed those videos inline. It's much more convenient and looks better.

Hello. So this website was originally meant as an imageboard with Reddit features such as link posts and user-created communities. However, because it lacks image uploads (instead relying on embeds) and doesn't require text, it ended up missing a key ingredient of websites in the style of 4chan: being discussion-centric. Despite turning out different from how it was intended, this website has real users as is evident from the daily Funnyjunk post as well as server stats (RAM usage, not JS based tracking). So this website isn't going anywhere. But I decided to work on something that is more true to the imageboard formula. I'm happy to announce a new project, namely an imageboard with the exact feature set I like: - Sidebar with recent posts. - The homepage aggregates posts from all boards and it supports /dynamic+board/ aggregation so you can view only the subjects that interest you. - Nested replies. - User-created boards. - Board list at the bottom of each page. - Clean interface. Hello. The pedos forum was deleted because it was inviting illegal content. Someone created the forum at the beginning as a joke without posting anything to it, and it was empty until recently. So it wasn't being used legitimately, but it was starting to invite illegal content. Also, I noticed that this website is being linked to in cytube goon rooms. Fashion videos hosted on YouTube, and cytube rooms that embed them, are allowed and you guys are welcome to post here. This is indeed a free speech platform. Just abide by the only rule: no illegal content.

Hello. I love working on user interfaces. This AI shit helps me to finally realize my ideas for it. What do you think of the UI of this website? I'm personally very happy with nested replies that only have two levels (to prevent users from getting lost in a tree), the colour contrast between posts and comments, and providing user-created communities on a chan-style website. I love the flexibility as well. When choosing software created by others, you have to make sacrifices in the feature set, there's no software that has the exact feature set you want. With AI, you can get to your desired feature set step by step. Any feedback welcome.

Word of Mouth is the first ever instance of Lumoforum. It is named that because it was vibecoded in 30 minutes with Lumo (Proton's AI assistant). I wanted to setup existing software but they were either ugly, had a complicated installation process, or both. So I turned to AI and to my surprise it worked and looks good as well. The index.php is 500 lines of code. In terms of features it's sort of a cross between Kareha and Reddit. Kareha is an anonymous textboard, that's where the simple form-based posting comes from that doesn't require account creation. But unlike Kareha it has user-created communities. Obviously this is a work in progress but the fun part is that I can extend it to my liking. Happy posting.
