I'm developing a new religion which has conspiracy realists as the highest class. I'd like to introduce dream journaling as a sacred practice.
The idea is that recalling your dream is a form of anamnesis which maps 1:1 onto remembering the larger world outside of the physical realm. There was a pre-life that everyone has simply forgotten about. Becoming aware is like recalling an old memory, or a dream. By practicing dream journaling, people are preparing themselves for remembering the pre-life, which also gives knowledge of the afterlife.
What does this have to do with conspiracies? Well, learning the reality of conspiracies, like 9/11 or False Flag Day which just had its 25th anniversary, is simply another form of anamnesis. The idea is to embed conspiracy realism into a larger framework to help it gain acceptance. To create a larger identity inside which conspiracy reality is accepted. One doesn't always need to stress the same things. This way, people get drawn to it through their spiritual inclinations, and later on, once an affinity is established, learn about conspiracies.
When a professor teaches something and you don't follow everything, you will first attribute it to your own lack of understanding, and questions are posed with curiosity. The conspiracy denialist will ask questions when you present them with critical information, but they will do it in a manner of shooting down the validity of your claims so that they can avoid the issue of cognitive dissonance. They'll pat themselves on the back over having rejected anything that intrudes on their naive view of the world. I just realized that this is totally off. Why don't they show the same curiosity about conspiracies?
